Yes!! This program is designed to support you in your recovery after both vaginal birth and c-section. You can also do this program if you have abdominal separation (diastasis recti) or a prolapse. Always check with your primary healthcare provider prior to beginning an exercise program.
Each week you will get 2 different 25-minute workouts. You can choose to do the workouts on the same day or different days, depending on your schedule! You can also choose to do each workout once, twice, or three times each week.
The workouts are pre-recorded, follow-along style videos. This means I’m right there on the video screen, guiding you through it step by step! I also give lots of tips on proper exercise form and progressions throughout the workouts.
You can start as soon as you’ve received your doctor’s clearance to return to an exercise program. For most women, this will be as early as 6 weeks postpartum.
The only equipment you need is a set of light-medium weights (i.e. 5-10 pounds) and a yoga mat. The program is designed so you can do it right from home! This includes pausing and playing the workouts as needed to account for baby interruptions 🙂
The expert-led education sessions are 3-5 minute videos covering a variety of topics that support physical and mental health postpartum. You will learn from a team of talented pre/postnatal professionals, including pelvic floor physiotherapy, naturopathic doctor/birth doula, psychotherapy, certified nutritional practitioner, and more! The education sessions are tools that will help support you physically and mentally throughout your journey! You can view the full list of topics included in the course curriculum.
This program is a personal training service, not an Occupational Therapy (OT) service, so you cannot use OT benefits for this. If you have a wellness account, you may be able to put this program towards that. Always check with your insurance company.
